A Thank you

Happy Thursday!  How is everyone today?  The weather here has been beautiful and I have been busy getting things done!  I finally got a chance to sit down and play for awhile yesterday with a bunch of goodies that I picked up from Lisa’s Scrap Shack.  I just love this Cosmo Cricket paper and Penny Black stamp.

A Thank you

I stamped the image and embossed it before cutting it out with the Labels one Nestie.  Before I took it out of the die I used Distressing ink and a stipple brush to age it a little bit.  I then coloured the image with Copic markers and clear Spica glitter pen, I think you may be able to see a little bit of it on the orange flowers.  I then pierced the edges on the top half of the card, added the ribbon and Pretties.  I finished it off with a hat pin through the knot and rounding the bottom corners.

Paper:Cosmo Cricket (Everafter Collection) Stamp: Penny Black (Fanfare)  Ink:Versafine (Onyx Black)  Accessories:Copic markers, Spica pen, Nestablities (Labels One), Lace, Hat pin, Peggy’s Pretties (Orange), Fine detail ep, Ek corner rounder (small).

I have a bit of laundry to get done, I want to take advantage of the nice weather and hang it out side while I can.  I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Cuttlebug Challenge ~ Be Inspired 29

Happy Wednesday!  Today’s theme at the Cuttlebug Challenge is Mother’s Day and the DT was given some great digital images to play with from My Grafico.  One lucky person who plays along with us this week will also receive a set of digital images as a prize!

I printed off the flower from the set Shopping Boutique, traced out the stem and leaf with my glue pen, let the glue go clear and then rubbed on green glitter.  I also did this to the petals of the flower with warm highlight Glitter Ritz glitter.  I then used the Stylized Flowers folder for the card base and glittered that as well.  I wrote ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ along the stem of the flower to finish it off.

Paper: Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket (Everafter),  Images: My Grafico (Shopping Boutique)  Accessories: Cuttlebug (Stylized Flowers), Peggy’s Pretties, Sakura Quickie glue pen, Glitter Ritz glitter (Moss, Warm Highlight, Champagne).

I am off to check out the rest of the DT’s creations now and then I have a Cross Country meet to drive kids to!  I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

PS. Don’t forget, the Cuttlebug Challenge Spa Blog Hop and weekend is only 2 sleeps away!

Pink Snowman!

Happy Monday!  My card today is for Sparkle’s weekly Christmas card challenge.  When I first read the challenge I was thinking I would have trouble with it, but I looked through my stash, to see what scraps I had for Christmas, and had this cutie done in no time!

Pink Snowman

I stamped and embossed the snowman and then coloured him with Copic markers and added a little bit of Stickles for some bling.  The rest was just matting and adding the pretties!  Now that’s a quick and simple card, just how I like it!

Paper:Bazzill, My Minds Eye  Stamp:CTMH (Snowfriends)  Ink: Versafine  Accessories:Copic markers, Stickles (Icicle), Peggy’s Pretties, Ribbon, pop dots, Paper Snowflakes.

I am going to clean up my playroom and get things organized, a chore that really needs to get done and then I am going to see where the day takes me.  I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Fab Friday at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog!

Happy Friday!  I am this weeks hostess for Fab Friday over at the Cuttlebug Challenge!  This week I decided to do a sketch for everyone to play along with.  The only rules I have are to have fun and play with your Cuttlebug!

fab-friday

For my sample, I stamped the image and coloured it with Copic markers, I then used some twine and Zip Dry glue to attach the lasso and filled in the belt buckle with some Diamond glaze for a little bit of shine.  I ran the card base through the Cuttlebug with the Distressed Stripes folder and used distressing ink to give the stripes a little bit more definition, I also did this to all of the other layers.  I then layered it all together, added a few small brads to the back panel and to finish it off I attached the sentiment.

Paper:Bazzill, CTMH  Stamps: Pink Cat Studio (Billy Plate)  Ink:Versafine (Onyx Black), Distress Ink  Accessories:Cuttlebug, Copic markers, Twine, Zipdry glue, CTMH mini brads, Diamond Glaze, SU! ticket punch.

To play along hop on over to the Cuttlebug Blog  where you will find my sketch, when you are done leave a comment and link to your card so that we can all check out what you make!  I can’t wait to see what everyone does with the sketch!  Have a great day and as always, thanks for stopping by!
