Fun Friday at Your Next Stamp!

Happy Friday!  I love Friday, it means the end of the week and FUN at Your Next Stamp!  Check out the YNS blog for all the fun cards from the DT, I was blown away!

When I was flipping through my stamps trying to decide what I wanted to use for today’s post when I remembered that earlier this week I had picked up a package of small dry erase boards from the dollar store, and thought they might be fun to alter.  And Shopper Fhiona would be perfect for a crafty wish list!  If you follow me you know I don’t do a lot of altered items, but this was so much fun and quick to do!  I think waiting for the glossy accents to dry on the Thickers took the most time!

Paper: Echo Park  Stamps: Your Next Stamp (Shopper Fhiona)  Ink: A Muse, Copic markers  Accessories: Nesties, MFT die-namic scallop border, Thickers, Glossy Accents.

I had a little adventure yesterday on my way to town, the muffler on my van decided to partially fall off!  Thankfully I was on my way to coffee at Lisa’s place and we let it cool off before trying to fix it ourselves before going to get Lee! LOL  Yes, I was crawling around under the van trying to get it off!   So today, I will be going back into town to shop and hopefully get it fixed!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Flutter By Wednesday #196

Happy Wednesday!  This week’s Flutter By Wednesday challenge is to make a get well/keep fighting/thinking of you card for a child.  For all the details of this special challenge please check the FBW blog and don’t forget that you need to use a butterfly, fairy or angel on your cards!

I have actually managed to use both a fairy and butterfly on my card today and I also used this week’s Deconstructed Sketch!

Paper: Echo Park Stamps: CC Designs, Verve sentiment  Ink: A Muse, Copic markers  Accessories: MFT Butterfly Die-namics, Nesties, Fiskars punch, Twine, Pearls, Smooch Glitz.

I have a few things to get done today and then get to work on prepping for the Copic class I am teaching this weekend!  I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

2012 Christmas Card Challenge #17

Happy Sunday!  This week’s Christmas Card Challenge is a color challenge!  They are purple, pink, green and white!  You don’t need to follow the challenge each week, as long as you make a Christmas or winter holiday card then you are good to go!

I had trouble with this week’s challenge.  I like all of those colors, I actually LOVE green with pink, but for some reason it just took me forever.  I think maybe it was because I kept drifting away from Christmas.  I ended up going with pink and purple and just a touch of green in her eyes and the twine.

Paper: Cosmo Cricket  Stamps: Sparkle Creations (Snow Angel Ruby)  Ink: Brilliance, Copic markers  Accessories: Cuttlebug, CM snowflake punch, Pearls, Bakers Twine, Stickles.

The kids go back to school tomorrow so I have to make some cookies for snacks at school and make sure clothes are clean and all that fun stuff.  I hope you have great day and thanks for stopping by!

Drunken Stampers Challenge #85 ~ I’ll Drink to That!

Happy Saturday!  This week’s Drunken Stamper’s challenge is “I’ll drink to that!”.  So any beverage related card is what we are looking for!  Also stay tuned next week for the introductions of our new Drunken Stamper’s DT!  I will be taking a bit of a break from the team for a little while, but Spike has stepped back in and has lots of fun challenges planned out for the next few months!

I have used one of my all time favorite Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, Swimming Lucy for today’s card.  I am dreaming of nice warm summer days sitting on the beach with a nice cold drink, so I thought she would be perfect!

Paper: Echo Park  Stamp: Sparkle Creations (Swimming Lucy)  Ink: A Muse, Copic markers Accessories: Baker’s Twine, Brads, Rhinestone.

We had a great day yesterday for Liam’s birthday, thank you for all the birthday wishes he loved it!  Today I plan on playing as much as I can!  I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
