Farm Fresh Friday!

One more day of work for me and then I am heading back to Mom’s again this weekend!  I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Feel better soon!

Happy Friday!  One week down, one more to go with the boys home!  Actually, it has been a good week, I have had time to play and enjoy the boys without all of the hustle and bustle of the normal routine.  I was having some fun today and decided to pick up a couple of digital images from The Greeting Farm.  I want to get a few of the rubber stamps as well, but the one I really wanted was out of stock, so I will wait to order until it is available again.

I printed Riding Hood Anya  onto cardstock and heat set the image before colouring with Copics.  I decided to pull out the old sewing machine and try my hand at a little machine stitching around the edges.  I then put it all together and added the sentiment.  It all came together quite quickly considering I had to pull out the sewing machine and get it all set up.

Paper:Bazzill (Dotted Swiss)  Image: The Greeting Farm (Riding Hood Anya)  Stamp:CTMH (Say It In Style)  Ink:Versafine (Onyx Black)  Accessories:Bazzill flowers (White), Kaiser Pearls (Red), Copic Markers.

I have a bunch of errands to run this morning and then I am off to Kamloops for a crop at Lisa’s Scrap Shack . I will also visit with my mom a little bit and  then get some shopping done on Saturday before heading back home.  I hope you all have a great Friday and Thanks for stopping by!

Be Inspired – Cuttlebug Challenge 20 with Valerie Salmon

Happy Wednesday!   The challenge today over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog is a sketch designed by Valerie Salmon.

To create my card, I embossed the cream cardstock with the Just My Type border embossing folder before layering on the patterned paper and embellishments.  For the scalloped edge, I used the mega Nestabilities rectangles, pierced it and then trimmed it to fit.  The sentiment, Thanks, is from the With Gratitude set and the rest of it is hand written.

Paper:Bazzill, Basic Grey (Porcelain)  Accessories:Cuttlebug (Just My Type; With Gratitude), Kaiser Pearls (Pink), Bazzill flowers, Leaf Ribbon, Green and white ribbon, Nestabilities (Mega scalloped rectangles), American Crafts Precision pen (Brown 03), paper piercer, pop dots.

I can’t wait to see how you all interpret the sketch this week!  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Be Mine

Happy Wednesday!  Wow, where has this week gone?  I guess I have just been super busy with regular everyday stuff, but it still seems to be going fast.  I also have some exciting news, but can’t share it just yet!

I used the Mojo Monday  sketch for today’s card and had lots of fun with it.  I stamped Changito in Versafine ink and heat set it before colouring him with Copic markers.  I used the Swiss dot folder for the red cardstock and the long scalloped rectangle Nestabilities for the black mat.  I cut the acetate heart by hand and then embossed it with the D’vine swirls Cuttlebug folder.  I finished it off with some mini rhinestones along the scalloped edge for a little added bling.

Paper:Bazzill Stamps:Changito (Stampendous), Say It In Style (CTMH)  Ink: Versafine  Accessories:Nestabilities, Swiss Dots and D’vine Swirls (Cuttlebug), Copic markers, Prima flower, Acetate, mini rhinestones, Satin ribbon, SU! slot punch, Button, Brown Floss, pop dots.

The boys will be home from school soon and I have some more chores that need to get done.  I hope you have a great afternoon and as always, thanks for stopping by!
