RCC #63

Hey everyone!  This week’s Ribbon Carousel Challenge  is a beautiful inspiration picture!  Don’t forget to check out the rest to the DT’s amazing cards on the RC blog, you will be blown away!  Here is the photo…

At first I was stumped as to what I wanted to do with this week’s challenge, then I decided to keep my card very simple and let the ribbon stand out!  I dug through all of my old stamps and found a very old CTMH set that I love, I stamped the image with VersaMark and embossed it.  I have to say that the Bazzill Card Shoppe cardstock was wonderful and didn’t warp or anything with the heat.  I haven’t heat embossed for ages, I was a little worried that I would make a mess, but it all turned out fine, once I found my heat tool!  I then finished it off with Navy Silky Crushed Ribbon and some Natural Jute.

FYI Challenge #14

Hey everyone! Happy Thursday!  This week’s For Your Inspiration challenge is a beautiful picture, so relaxing!  Don’t forget to check out how the rest of the lovely DT were inspired!

I didn’t color anything for this card, I know I was shocked too, but I still used my Copics!  I used them with the airbrush to get the graduated shades of blue for the background.

Drunken Stampers Challenge #50

Happy Saturday!  This week’s Drunken Stampers Challenge is to make a fuzzy card!  After playing around with fun flock and flower soft, I went with felt and made this little quilt.  I know exactly who is going to get this card too!

Flutter By Wednesday

Happy Thursday!  I really wanted to get these done and posted yesterday for the Flutter By Wednesday DT call, but things just did not want to go my way.  Oh well, they are done now and I am quite happy with both of my fluttering creations and excited to put my name in the ring!  I have enjoyed playing along this fall and love all of the DT examples.     I also used Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge #105 for my first card.
