Cuttlebug Challenge 33 ~ Be Inspired

Happy Wednesday!  Time for another Be Inspired challenge from the Cuttlebug Challenge blog!  This week our theme is monograms and we also got to play with tags from Elle’s Studio!

I stamped and embossed the solo h from Close to my Heart before cutting it out, I then matted it and trimmed around the edges before attaching it to the card front.  I then wrote on the tag and attached it with a pretty ribbon.  I think the rest of the card is pretty easy to figure out, but if you have questions please ask.

Cuttlebug Challenge ~ Be Inspired 32

Happy Wednesday!  Time for another installment of Be Inspired at the Cuttlebug Challenge blog, this weeks theme is Butterflies and hearts.  Our sponsor this week is Provo Craft, and one lucky participant will win a prize pack from Provo!

I am very happy with how my card turned out, I wanted to keep it simple yet pretty.  I used the Cuttlebug Butterfly cut and emboss combo to cut the butterfly and then embossed it with the coordinating swirl folder, I love how easy it was to cut and then emboss the butterfly perfectly!  I then added the pearls for the body and slightly curled the wings up.  I finished it off by stamping and embossing the sentiment.

Cuttlebug Spa weekend: Relax, Rejuvenate, Be Inspired!

 Happy Friday!  If you’ve been following the blog hop, then you should have just come from Karen’s blog , if not please start at Eva’s Blog.

When I am feeling like my batteries are low and need a good recharging nothing works better for me than a nice hot bath with some scented bath salts, a nice candle burning and a warm drink to sip on.  I also like to have a craft magazine or two to browse and inspire me while I soak the stress away. 

One of my all time favourite flowers are Hydrangeas, they remind me of the first house I lived in when I was little.  There were huge bushes by the side of the house that I would pick flowers from and take to my Mom.  I would love to plant some of these now that I am in my own house, they always make me smile.

Fab Friday at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog!

Happy Friday!  I am this weeks hostess for Fab Friday over at the Cuttlebug Challenge!  This week I decided to do a sketch for everyone to play along with.  The only rules I have are to have fun and play with your Cuttlebug!

For my sample, I stamped the image and coloured it with Copic markers, I then used some twine and Zip Dry glue to attach the lasso and filled in the belt buckle with some Diamond glaze for a little bit of shine.  I ran the card base through the Cuttlebug with the Distressed Stripes folder and used distressing ink to give the stripes a little bit more definition, I also did this to all of the other layers.  I then layered it all together, added a few small brads to the back panel and to finish it off I attached the sentiment.
