Brrrr!

Happy Thursday!  I got this Magnolia image from my friend Lisa the other day when I went for a visit and had to colour her up right away!  I knew she would go perfectly with the Eskimo Kisses paper, so cute!

Lots of Sunshine!

Happy Friday!  Wow, 3 cards in 3 days!  It has been so hot this week that I have been hiding out in the only room with air conditioning working on cards!  The only time I leave my room is to take the kids to the lake for a swim or to make dinner!  I love summer!

Case of the Curious Card 4 ~ Gone Fishin’

Happy Friday!  Wahoo, the weekend is almost here!  I have had a busy week, but it always seems to be like this at the end of the school year with all of the activities, meetings and trips.  In only one more month it will be summer vacation!  Today’s card makes me think of summer, with the water and trees and a little fishing!  It is for the Case of the Curious Card  over at The Greeting Farm!

I started by stamping and colouring Ian with Copic markers.  I then went to work on the rest of the card!  LOL I cut off the stamped fishing line and tied a little bit of DMC floss onto the pole with a little wire hook that I made.  I used the Cuttlebug for the sky as well as the trees, and used a new EK border punch for the water.  I added a little glitter to the water with my glue pen and micro-fine glitter and tucked a couple of extra fish in for fun.  If you have any questions about anything else I did please feel free to ask.

Warm Wishes

Happy Tuesday!  Today’s card is for Sparkle’s weekly Christmas card challenge.  This week she has a fun sketch to use!

Here is a close up of the image to see the detail.

I stamped and embossed the image, and then used the scalloped nestie to cut it out.  I then added some glitter around the edge and fun flock to the cute bear.  I punched out the snowflakes, painted them with Shimmerz and added a rhinestone for a little more bling.  What is a Christmas card without the bling?
