*Sorry my post is late I had scheduled it but for PM not AM!*
Happy Sunday everyone! This week’s Christmas Card Challenge is to make your own background!
Eeek! I love to use patterned paper and was not sure what to do at first and went through a few things before I settled on random stamping and a little dry embossing.
paper: Bazzill Stamps: Your Next Stamp (Snow Globe) Ink: A Muse, CTMH, Copic markers Accessories: Cuttlebug, Liquid pearls, Glitter Ritz glitter, Nesties, Baker’s Twine, Rhinestones.
I hope you all have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by!
Happy Thursday! I am really liking my new card making system that I have been using for the last couple of weeks, and idea I picked up from Sparkle. She always has an awesome card to share and before she shared her secret I would try and make a card a day but with everything going on it just wasn’t happening. Now, I pick the images I want to play with, match them to the paper I want to use and colour my nights away! Then when I have a stack ready to go I put them all together. I don’t know why I never thought of doing this before, I love it!
Paper: Bazzill Stamp: CTMH Ink: CTMH Accessories: Liquid pearls, Stickles, Sakura glue pen, Glitter Ritz glitter, Satin Ribbon, Making Memories brad, Thickers, Spellbinders.
I’m off to do a little bit of baking today, Lee and the boys have been hinting for some oatmeal cookies! I hope you are having a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Happy Wednesday! It has been 3 weeks since I last made a card and I think my mojo is officially missing. It really should not take me days to put a card together and then still not be 100% thrilled with it. Lee figures that I just need to make up a few cards, even if I don’t like them, and then my missing mojo will reappear and I will be going full steam again. I’m not so sure about that, but I may just have to give it a try. Today’s card took way too long for my liking considering the simplicity of it, I just could not get what I had envisioned out.
Paper: Bazzill, Patterned paper ? (I used scraps and can’t remember) Stamps: Stamping Bella Ink: Versafine Accessories: Brads, Ribbon, Copic markers, SU! punch, Liquid pearls, Sakura Stardust pen.
I have a bunch of chores that need to get done today and then I am going to go and look at some wigs. I haven’t lost my hair yet, but I want to be ready for when it happens. I’m not really worried about it, but want it mostly for when I am at the kids school. Anyways, I hope that you have a great day and as always thank you for stopping by!
Happy Wednesday! Today’s Challenge over on the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog is to make an embossed acetate card.
I embossed the acetate with the D’vine Swirl folder and the large dots from the Just My Type border set. I then traced the swirl design with my Sakura quickie glue pen, let it dry and then applied yellow Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter.
I stamped the cupcake base and then ran it through the Cuttlebug with the spots and dots folder, cut it out and pieced it back onto the image. I coloured the cupcake with Copic markers, used Liquid Applique for the icing and red Liquid Pearls for the cherry on top. I then cut 3 scalloped circles with Nestabilities and matted the image. To finish the card I tied on the ribbon.
Paper:Bazzill, Acetate Stamp: My Favorite Things (It’s a cupcake kind of day!) Ink: Versafine Accessories:Cuttlebug (D’vine Swirls, Just My Type, Spots and Dots), Nestabilities (Small Scalloped Circles), Sakura Quickie Glue pen, Glitter Ritz (Yellow micro fine glitter), Copic markers, Liquid Applique, Liquid Pearls (Red), Yellow ribbon.
I can’t wait to see what everyone does for this weeks challenge! Take a minute and head on over to the Cuttlebug Challenge and see what all of the other amazing DT members have done!
Have a great day, and as always thanks for stopping by!
