Hey everyone! It is time for Tasty Tuesday at Your Next Stamp and we are using this fun cupcake photo for inspiration again this week!
I was inspired by the umbrella and decided to play with a much-loved, older YNS stamp that hadn’t seen ink in a long time, Rainy Day Fhiona.
Paper: My Mind’s Eye Stamps: Rainy Day Fhiona, Awesome Journal words (Your Next Stamp) Ink: A Muse Black dye, Walnut Distress Ink Accessories: Nesties, Pearls, Copic markers, Glossy Accents, Stickles, EK Success border punch, Natural Jute.
I hope all my Canadian friends had a great long weekend, I didn’t get one (I had to work), but it was still nice to not have to get up early to rush the kids off to school yesterday. I also didn’t get much stamping time in, but that is okay I hope to later this week!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Hey everyone! This week’s Ribbon Carousel challenge is to paper piece! I love the look of paper piecing, I just don’t do it that often, I think I am going to have to change that!
I stamped and colored my (favorite stamp ever!) image and then stamped it again on the dp for her inner tube and bikini, cut them out and added them to the image. I finished it off with the sentiment, perfect for hot summer days on the lake, and a little bling and Pink Sorbet Baker’s Twine. I also used my new favorite go to card stock, Bazzill Card Shoppe, it is amazing!
Paper: Echo Park, Bazzill Card Shoppe (Juicy Pear, Easter Grass) Stamps: Sparkle Creations (Swimming Lucy), A Muse sentiment Ink: A Muse black dye ink, Copic markers Accessories: Pink Sorbet Baker’s Twine, Rhinestones, Smooch Glitz, Spica glitter pen, Sakura white gel pen.
The boys are almost done for the summer, I can’t wait to be able to sleep in, especially since I am working nights!!! Maybe I will be able to get a little stamping done at night when I get home. :)
I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Hey everyone! It feels like it has been way longer than a week since I last posted! The move was crazy considering the distance we had to go (not far at all) and the boys not being in school due to the teachers being out on strike for the last 3 days. Then to top it all off I got sick, but things are starting to come together here and I even have a card to share!
For today’s card I inked up the brand new Sitting Casual set from The Greeting Farm that was just released last week. I paper pieced the chair and then drew in the hard wood floor and colored it with Copic’s. I adore Ian so it was really an easy choice for me, I can already see lots of cards made with this cute set in the future!
Paper: Echo Park Stamps: The Greeting Farm (Sitting Casual) Ink: A Muse, Copic markers, CTMH White pigment ink Accessories: Copic multi liner, brads, sewing machine.
I will be back soon to share pics of my new crafty space, you know it was the first thing I unpacked! lol I hope you all have a great Thursday and thanks for stopping by!
Happy Saturday! This week at the Drunken Stampers we are gettin’ sketchy! I love playing with sketches and use them all the time when my mojo is trying to hide!
I had fun playing and decided to do a little paper piecing on the dress and boots. I always wanted to have knee-high boots when I was younger but my legs are just too short for them and I end up looking kinda funny!
Paper: Basic Grey Stamps: C.C. Designs, Amuse sentiment Ink: Amuse, Copic markers Accessories: May Arts Jute, Kaiser Pearls, Smooch Illuminate.
Don’t forget to stop by and check out the rest of the lovely Drunken Stamper gals have done with the sketch this week!
Have a fab Saturday and thanks for stopping by!
