2011 Christmas Card Challenge #19

Happy Sunday everyone!  This week’s Christmas Card Challenge is to use bows on your cards.  Remember that you don’t have to follow this, we just want to see Christmas/winter holiday cards!  It is wonderful not having to rush in December to get them all done in time.  Don’t forget to check out the rest of the lovely cards from the DT.

I decided give my Copics a rest (gasp!) and pull out my old Prisma pencils and oms to color my image.  I haven’t used them in ages, so it took a little bit to get used to them again, but I still love them!

Paper: Imaginisce  Stamps: Not sure of the image, it was in my stash of stamped images, Verve sentiment  Ink: A Muse  Accessories: Glitter Ritz glitter, Ribbon, Button, Twine, Rhinestones.

I have a little laundry and housework to get done, hopefully I can get in a little stamping too!  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,

A Little Java

Happy Saturday!  I love my coffee morning, noon and even at night.  I don’t think I could stamp without a cup of coffee sitting next to me, so when I picked up this MFT set for the store I knew I would have to have one for myself!

A little java

Paper: Basic Grey Stamp: My Favorite Things  Ink: Memento  Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, OMS, Copic markers, Sakura stardust pen, BG buttons, Diamond glaze.

I am off to stamp and do a little bit of housework and maybe some laundry today!  I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas!

Happy Thursday!   Today’s card is for Sparkle’s weekly Christmas card challenge, the theme or challenge this week was to use scraps!  I was actually able to use only scraps for this card.  I didn’t have to cut anything, even the punched edge was done, all I had to do was colour the image!  This also prompted me to sort my scraps and set up a file system for them.

Merry Christmas Bella

I coloured Bella with Prismacolor pencils and OMS and then put the card together, stamped the sentiment and added the rhinestones!   I just love it when a card comes together so quickly.  :D

Paper: Bazzill  Stamps:Stamping Bella, CTMH  Ink: Versafine  Accessories:Prismacolor pencils, OMS, Mini rhinestones, Prima flowers, Making Memories brad, ribbon, Fiskars punch, Ek success punch.

I don’t want to get all serious, but I want to remind you to check yourself for lumps, and if you are not sure if something is right, please go to your family doctor and have it checked.  I found one recently and went to my doctor to have it checked out.   On Monday I had a lumpectomy, according to the biopsy it was nothing serious, but still needed to come out before it did become something worse.  It was scary, but I am much happier that it is out than letting it sit and become something worse.

Okay, lecture over, I am starting to feel better now and am really wanting to play again, hopefully today will be the day to play, I have some brand new stamps from The Greeting Farm and Bo Bunny paper sitting on my desk crying out for ink.  If all goes well, I will have something to share with you tomorrow!  As always thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Happy Easter

Happy Tuesday!  I found these cute digi images the other day by Dustin Pike and thought they would be so cute on a card.  I also used this weeks sketch over at Taylored Expressions.

I printed of the image and heat set it with my embossing gun before I coloured the Dragon with Copic markers. I added a little bit of glitter to his spots as well as to the egg shell, but I don’t think it shows well in the picture.  For the ground I used Prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS.  I finished it off with the sentiment that I wrote out.  I always worry that I am going to go crooked when I use my own hand writing, and this time I did so let’s just pretend that it is straight!   :D

Paper:Bazzill, BoBunny (Abby Road)  Image: Dustin Pike (Easter Dragon)  Accessories: Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils, OMS, Glitter Ritz (Sweet Basil), Prisma glitter, Sakura Quickie glue pen, Prima flower (blue), Imaginisce flowers (Brown & Green), BoBunny candy brad (Rough and Tumble).

I have a ton of housework to get done today and then a PAC meeting at the school this evening.  Hopefully I find some time to play.  What are you up to today?  Whatever it is I hope that you have a great day and as always thanks for stopping by!
