I had to have this set from Close to my Heart when it was the stamp of the month back in September. Sadly, it has not seen ink until now. I tried to keep this as simple as I could, so that the image would stand out. I think that the hardest part of this card was the embossing of the flower, other than that it was super easy and quick to make. I left it blank so it could be used for any occasion or just because.

Happy Saturday! It has been a crazy busy week with no time to play, but I think that I can finally relax a little bit. My shopping is done, gifts wrapped, and most of the baking is done! I’m sure that I will think of something that I have forgotten but I will deal with that then! The boys are out of school now until the 5th and I am looking forward to skating out on the lake and sledding! I am not a big skater, but I do have fun out there with them. 😀
I coloured this Whiff of Joy image a while ago and figured I should put it on a card. I coloured Charlotte with prismacolor pencils and oms except for her skin, I used a Copic E00. I also use a red Spica glitter pen for the bow. I then added Diamond Glaze to the bell and liquid applique for some extra dimension. The rest of the card came together with very little effort, I just used what was sitting out on my desk.

Happy Wednesday! Well it has been extremely cold here so far this week, more so than usual. I was busy working and getting some more shopping done yesterday, I really need to learn how to start earlier in the year! I’m hoping that I will be finished by Friday, and then it is just a matter of getting the house ready and finish baking all the cookies for Santa!
This is the last card I made for Susan at ~Card Sketch A Day~
I ran the cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the snowflake folder and then carefully sponged on some blue ink. I coloured the snowman with BIC and Sharpies before matting. The sentiment is embossed with clear embossing powder on glossy cardstock and then I sponged on more blue ink. To finish the card I added some prisma glitter and mini rhinestones.
