Good morning! Only 10 more sleeps until Santa arrives! This is what I hear many times a day! I’d better finish my shopping! There is always so much to do an never enough time at this time of year. I have another busy day ahead of me, there is a Christmas concert at the school, a last minute costume to make for the concert (don’t get me started on that!) and I have to work tonight. The only thing keeping me going is that after work tonight I am off until the new year! Yeah!
Erin sent me a lovely Christmas card along with some very cute images. I don’t know who these images are made by, but I want them! Thank you Erin!I had to play with this guy right away! I thought that it might work well for the foster kid cards that I am working on. I coloured him with Prismacolor pencils and oms before cutting him out and mounting him onto black cardstock. I also cut out , very carefully, the sentiment before matting it as well. I pierced around the outside of the card and used a black gel pen to add the faux stitching, I then used a stipple brush and ink to give it a slightly distressed look.
