Happy Thursday! The sun is out and the snow is melting! Yeah! I have been thinking about the sketch for the Viva la Verve! challenge for almost a week now, and finally got it done.
The twist for this week was to use flowers in your design, any type any way. I almost forgot about it, but then remembered the With Gratitude Cuttlebug folder and went with that. I then outlined some of the flowers and warm highlight glitter to make them pop. The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms, I stamped it with Coffee Bean Brilliance ink and then embossed it with clear detail embossing powder. I was thinking of adding more to the sentiment, but I like what is says and decided that less is more this time.
Paper:Bazzill, CTMH (Heavenly Blue) Stamp: Cornish Heritage Farms ( Motivational Centers) Ink: Brilliance (Coffee Bean) Accessories:Sakura Quickie glue pen, Glitter Ritz (Warm Highlight), Clear detail ep, Cuttlebug (With Gratitude), Satin Ribbon, pop dots.
I’m going to go and get some of this laundry done and maybe even get it put away. If I am lucky I will also get some more play time in! Have a great afternoon and thanks for stopping by!
Happy Wednesday! This morning I decided that I was going to get a card done no matter what! I also did a bunch of chores, but for the most part I spent the morning playing! I used Taylor’s sketch for my card today, I think it is perfect to celebrate a year of cupcakes!
I had some trouble with the oval shape, but eventually got it when I remembered my old templates from when I first started scrapbooking many moons ago! I think I need to get the nesties, I wasn’t big on that shape but now I want them too! So many toys, so little money!
Paper:Bazzill, Fancy Pants (The Daily Grind – Office space) Stamp: Penny Black (Critter Party) Ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black) Accessories:Prismacolor pencils, Odourless mineral spirits (oms), Fiskars punch (Threading Water), Liquid applique, Shimmerz (Angel wings), Buttons, Brown floss, pop dots.
I have a huge mess to clean up in my playroom, I don’t know how it got this big with the lack of out put, but it is a mess and I’d better get it done before the kids get home. I hope you all have a great day and as always, thanks for stopping by!
Happy Tuesday! I have had that song stuck in my head for days now while trying to get this card done, I tried doing this card so many different ways, I finally decided to keep it simple. I am sorry for being a bad blogger the last few days now, my mojo has been MIA, hopefully it has returned. I had a blast Friday at the very first Lisa’s Scrap Shack crop, I met a bunch of great ladies and dinner was awesome! I also picked up a few new Copic Ciao markers!!! Yup, Lisa is now carrying them in the store for a great price along with tons of other great stuff! No, I’m not getting paid to say that, I just love her store! 😀
This card is for this weeks OCC sketch challenge. I loved Cindy’s card and had to do something similar. These monkeys are from the Autumn Leaves set, Mindy’s Zoo, they are sooo cute! I coloured them with Copic markers and pop dotted them onto the circles. I really don’t know why this card took so long to get done, I guess it was that MIA mojo of mine, because it was a super easy card now that I look at it.
Paper: Basic Grey (Bittersweet), Bazzill Stamp: Autumn Leaves (Mindy’s Zoo) Ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black) Accessories:Copic markers (RV13, YG03, YG05, G28, E33, E47,0), American Crafts precision pen (brown), Nestabilities (small scalloped circle), Peggy’s Pretties (clear), pop dots.
That’s all for today, hopefully I can get my mojo running properly and be back to share more with you tomorrow. Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by!
Happy Friday! Can you tell that I am a little happy that the weekend is finally here? I am heading out for 2 days of fun with the girls!!! We are starting at Lisa’s Scrap Shack tonight and then Saturday we are going to The Scrap shack for an all day crop. My bags are packed and I am ready to go. 😀
Today’s card is quick and simple! I coloured the image with Copic markers and used Glitter Ritz glitter and flowers to frame it. I think that is about it for this card. Like I said, quick and simple.
Paper: Bazzill Stamp: A Muse – Elzybell Ink: Memento Acessories:Nesties, Glitter ritz glitter, Copic markers, brads, ribbon, Cuttlebug, CTMH flowers.
I’m going to go and make sure that I have everything ready to go and make sure that these guys have food for dinner tonight. I hope you all have a great weekend and Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Wednesday! I’m still working on organizing…the never ending job! It is all good! I am trying to rearrange the house to make the most of what little storage space I have. Not an easy job, but it does feel good to see it coming together. I want to have most of it done by Friday because I am going to go to the the very first crop at Lisa’s Scrap Shack and will be gone for the night and most of Saturday too, so I won’t have a lot of time this weekend to get it done.
Today’s card is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I used what was on my desk still from the other day and a Bella that I coloured a little while ago but had not used.
Paper:Bazzill, Basic Grey Stamps: Stamping Bella, CTMH Ink:CTMH, Versafine Accessories:Mini rhinestones, Cuttlebug, Prismacolor pencils, oms, Peggy’s Pretties, Satin ribbon, Nesties, pop dots.
I have a PAC meeting at the school after dinner tonight and then I am going to try and figure out what I am packing for the crop. I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Happy Monday! How has your day been so far? Mine has gone well, I worked this morning and then ran around doing a bunch of errands. I then came home and did a little bit more organizing around the house, but I could hear my stamps calling my name! Today’s card is for the Viva la Verve! challenge with a twist of pink.
I don’t think that there is a lot to explain for this card. I stamped the hearts with Versamark Dazzle in Frost and embossed them with clear detail embossing powder. I then layered it all together and added Baby Pink flowersoft to the flowers and used liquid pearls along the scalloped edge.
Paper: Bazzill Stamps: Doodlebug, Studio G Ink:Versamark Dazzle, Versamark, CTMH Accessories:Clear detail ep, Nesties, EK corner rounder, Flowersoft, Liquid pearls, pop dots, flowers.
I am going to go and make the kids lunches and then sit back and relax a little bit before bed. Have a great evening and as always thanks for stopping by!
Happy Sunday! I wish it was a cupcake kind of day and a fairy would come along to help clean up this house! I’ve been busy trying to get this disaster of a house organized, and it has not been going well. I think I am losing the battle! It is amazing how much junk 5 people can collect over a year! I decided to take a break today and play along with the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. I received this image from a Bella swap and just love it so much, it is so cute and was lots of fun to colour.
I coloured the image with prismacolor pencils and oms and added a little bit of Shimmerz to the wings, but I don’t think that you can see it in the picture. I also used Spica glitter pens to colour in the flowers and added a rhinestone flower to her head band. I then finished it off with a little bit of liquid applique on the cupcake. Now if only everything else around here was this easy!
Paper:Basic Grey, Bazzill Stamps: Stamping Bella, MFT Ink:VersaMark, CTMH, image unkown Accessories:Spica glitter pens, Shimmerz, Queen & Co rhinestone, Liquid applique, Prismacolor pencils, oms, Kaiser pearls, Prima flowers, fine detail ep, Fiskars punch.
Well, it is back to work for me! I hope you all have a great day and as always thanks for stopping by!
