Happy Monday!  I had a great weekend!  On Friday I went back to the surgeon and got my test results, she took 23 lymph nodes and all 23 came back clear as well as all the margins!  I will still have to go through chemo and radiation, but to know that we got it early is a huge relief!  Then, Saturday I went to Lisa’s Scrap Shack for a while and had fun colouring my new Magnolia that I had to have!  I also picked up the new Basic Grey Lemonade and June Bug collections!

Sparkle’s Christmas Card Challenge #29

Happy Wednesday!  I am back with a quick post for today.  My Magnolia stamps arrived the other day and I just had to try and play!  I worked on this card for Sparkle’s  challenge over a couple of days and finally finished it this morning.

My internet connection has been horrible the last week or so, and has put a serious dent in my surfing time.   I hope that they can figure out what is wrong and fix it soon!  I am doing okay, still sore but that is to be expected right now.  Thank you all for your wonderful comments, they mean so much to me right now.

As always I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

I have missed you all!

As you can see, if you visit regularly, I have been gone for awhile.  I have had a hard week and a bit here, my test results came in from the surgery I had on the 1st, and had changed since the first biopsy was done.  They were not good.  I was diagnosed with Invasive dutctal carcinoma, or breast cancer.   I have already had a second surgery, a partial mastectomy,  to hopefully remove what was left behind during the first surgery and they also took lymph nodes and will be looking at those now too.  I should know more about what I am dealing with this Friday when I see the surgeon again.

It has been a whirlwind the last week, but I hope over the next few days that things will settle down while I heal and I will be able to do some stamping again.  I am expecting some new stamps in the mail, (Thanks Sparkle for helping me with the name of the Magnolia I wanted!) and can’t wait to play, call it therapy!

I want to thank all of you that have sent me messages and that have helped me out over the last few days!  I really do value  all of the things you have done for me!

I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Little Angel

Happy Monday!  Why does the weekend fly by so quickly?  I didn’t get nearly enough done that I wanted to.  Oh well, the kids will be out of school soon and I won’t have to rush around so much.  Today’s card is for Sparkle’s weekly Christmas card challenge.

Surfer Dude!

Happy Sunday!  Just a quick post from me today.  I made this quick card for one of the boys to give a friend for his birthday next week!

Surfer Dude!

I used a bunch of scraps for this card, since I sorted them all out, I find myself saving a lot of cardstock!  The patterned paper was also in with the scraps, I don’t know how it ended up there, but I don’t remember who it is by.  If  you have any questions about the card, feel free to ask.  😀

Paper: Bazzill, Patterned paper scraps ?  Stamp: The Greeting Farm (Surfer Ian)  Ink: Versafine  Accessories:  Copic markers, Clear ep, Making Memories brads, Shimmerz (Coffee).

I have some friends coming out to visit and scrap today, hopefully I will get something done!  I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Saturday!  I didn’t find time to stamp again yesterday, but we did have a visitor and I thought I would share a picture of that today!

I took this picture from our deck last night, looking towards the backyard and forest!  I’m so glad that we decided to get a dog, she started to bark and Mr. Bear took off!  It was cool to see, I just hope we don’t see him again!

I have lots to do again today, but tonight I should have time to relax a little bit and do some stamping.  I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
