2010 Christmas Card Challenge #26 ~ use fabric or felt

Happy Sunday!  The challenge this week at Sparkle’s Christmas Card Challenges is to use fabric or felt on your card! Check out what the rest of the amazing DT did this week and leave them a little love!

I had so much fun with this card!  I stamped the snowflakes directly onto the fabric to create my background and then stitched it to the card base with floss and frayed the edges.

Paper: Bazzill Stamps: The Greeting Farm, Amuse, Snowflakes (unknown)  Ink: Amuse, Distress Ink, Copic markers, Sakura clear glaze pen   Accessories: Muslin, DMC floss, Snowflakes, Fun flock with glitter.

Guess what I am up to today? LOL Yup more packing, we are getting closer now.  By the end of next weekend I should be moved, then I need to unpack!  At least that I can take my time a little more with that!  I will be back on Wednesday with another card to share!

Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Drunken Stampers #18 ~ Vintage & Time

Happy Saturday!  This weeks challenge at the Drunken Stampers is vintage and time!   Hop on over to check out all the great cards and say hi!

It was another toughy for me this week.  I was working with limited supplies, with my move, and totally out of my comfort zone!  So, I went surfing trying to find something to help inspire and found this amazing card  over at SCS.

Paper: Bazzill, Memory Box  Stamps: CTMH  Ink: Distress Ink (Walnut stain and antique linen)  Accessories: Ribbon, brads.

Well, I’d better get back to packing and cleaning!  I can not wait until this move is done and I can go back to stamping and creating!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

A Belated Birthday

Happy Wednesday!  Sorry that I have been MIA so far this week.  Things have been nutty around here the last week or so and we  found out that we will be moving in the next 2 weeks!  We are not going far, but it is still a pain in the rear!  I hate packing, but I love the change at the same time.  So if I am away for a little while you will know why.  I will still have my DT cards done for Drunken Stampers and Christmas Card Challenges on the weekend and maybe the occasional card to share, when I can sneak in a little stamping time before the move.

Paper: Bazzill, Pink Paislee  Stamps: The Greeting Farm, Amuse  Ink: Amuse, Copic markers  Accessories: Lace, CTMH flower, BG button, Jute, Glossy Accents, Pearls.

I will be back on Saturday with a card to share!  Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

2010 Christmas Card Challenge #25 ~ Sentiment

Happy Sunday!  The challenge this week at Sparkle’s Christmas Card Challenges is to use a sentiment only on your card!  You can check out what the rest of the lovely DT did here.

Wow, another tough challenge for me this week!  I didn’t colour or stamp on this card!  Well, I guess I still did colour a little bit,  I coloured my thickers!  LOL  I also used Sweet Sunday Sketch #69 for my card, I just rotated it!

Paper: Bazzill, Worldwin, DP (I don’t remeber who it is by, it was in with a bunch of scraps)   Ink: Distress ink, Copic marker  Accessories: Thickers, Pearls, Nesties.

I was going through all my cards and was amazed at how many Christmas cards I already have for this year!  I really love not having to rush at the last minute to get cards done like I used to!

I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Drunken Stampers Challenge #17 ~ Distress Chipboard

Happy Saturday!  This weeks challenge at the Drunken Stampers is to get all distressy (is that a real word?) and use chipboard!  Check out what Spike and Linda came up with this week, I’m sure they will inspire you!

Now, I don’t normally distress much on my cards or use chipboard, I am a cutesy girl all the way, so this weeks challenge was really a challenge for me until I remembered this adorable, had to have it or I might die, DCWV chipboard set collecting dust on the shelf!   I did have fun taking out my frustrations while distressing and I think I still found a way to make it cutesy!  LOL

Paper: Bazzill  Stamps: Amuse sentiment  Ink: Distress ink   Accessories: Cuttlebug, Twine, Pearls, DCWV chipboard.

I will be busy cleaning the house today, fun stuff!  I hope that I can find a little time to stamp, Mr. Mojo is still wanting to play and I don’t want to upset him!

I hope you have a great Saturday and thanks for stopping by!

Just Because

Happy Friday!  TGIF & Yeah for the extra long weekends!  The boys have the day off school today for a professional development day and Monday is Victoria Day here!  We also had no school yesterday due to the storms and power outages in the area!  I had already fallen asleep when they started and heard nothing but apparently they were crazy!  It’s too bad because I love a good storm!  I know Lisa, you will say I am nuts!  🙂

Today’s card is one that I started on the weekend and finished up a few days ago during my burst of mojo!  LOL

Paper: Bazzill, October Afternoon  Stamps: Whipper Snapper, CTMH  Ink: Amuse, Copic markers  Accessories: Stickles, Pearls, Ribbon.

Have a fantastic Friday and thanks for stopping by!

Sarah Kay note card

Happy Thursday!  I can not believe how fast this week is going!  I have lots going on with the boys year-end stuff at school and life, sometimes I just feel way to overwhelmed!  Even stamping starts to feel like a chore when we are this busy, not a good thing!  Of course that is when my mojo wants to play, play, play!  LOL  I guess I should run with it while I can!

Paper: Bazzill, Crate paper  Stamp: Stampavie (Sarah Kay)  Ink: Amuse, Copic markers  Accessories: Prima flower, Pearls, Bo Bunny brad, Jute.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
