Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop!

Hi and welcome to the Your Next Stamp new release blog hop!  Are you ready for some adorable new stamps?  This month’s release will not disappoint, I love them all! If you have just stumbled across my blog you can start the hop here.  If you have just arrived from Beth’s blog then you are in the right place!

For my first card I have used Window Play Inside  and created a little scene to welcome someone to their new home!  I colored the couch with Copic markers and used colorless blender to soak a piece of material to create the texture before paper piecing the pillows.  The window in the background has glossy accents on it to give it some shine and the curtains were taped to the top of the window. I also embossed the sentiment with a pearly white embossing powder to make it pop a little bit and finished it off with pearls.

Paper: Bazzill, Basic Grey  Stamps: Your Next Stamp  Ink: A Muse, Copic markers  Accessories: Glossy Accents, Fabric, Beads, Embossing powder, Pearls, Ribbon.

For my second card I have used  Curly Cutie Fhiona, I just love her hair and had to have her as soon as I saw her!  I have also used this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch  for my card.

Paper: Basic Grey  Stamp: Your Next Stamp (Curly Cutie Fhiona)  Ink: A Muse, Copic markers  Accessories: MFT dienamics scallop border, nesties, Stickles, Ribbon, D’vine Twine, Buttons, Prima flower.

What is a blog hop with out a prize?!  One lucky winner, who has commented along the hop and added their name to the inlinkz list below,  will be drawn at random to receive Kali and Kai from Hawaii!

Karen also has a sale going right now and it is the perfect time to pick up some adorable new stamps!  10% off of your entire order  use the online code – YNSJULYNR – sales ends July 20that midnight!

  1. I love that card! I didn’t think to be making cards for new homes/apartments, but it would make sense since I’m at the age when all my friends and getting married and moving out. Thanks for the inspiration! Haha, and by inspiration, I mean the inspiration to make cards for this occasion because there’s no way I can make something as fantastic as yours! Those curtains and pillows … love them!

  2. Love how used fabric and blender solution to create that COOL fabric look on the couch and those curtains – too FUN! Curly Cutie Fhiona is adorable – don’t laugh but she totally looks like me! I have mad crazy curls – LOL

  3. What fun! So much texture on both of your cards with the ribbons and fabric. Those curtains are just too cute (and creative!).

  4. Both these cards are so creative. The window treatments made me squeal when I first saw them. That is so creative!!!! I also love how you used soft colors with the Curly Cutie image. I went with bold, but I love the soft colors so much better LOL.

    Awesome work Peggy!!

  5. Hi Peggy, wow I just love your paper piecing on that first card. Love the 2nd one too but I must admit the first one’s my favourite. HUgs, Frea

  6. I just LOVE the scene you created with the couch! Those curtains are fabulous and so is the texture of the couch! Curly Cutie is so adorable! Awesome cards, Peggy!

  7. Your blog looks great! I obviously haven’t checked in a while eh! Love your cards,as always – the new home one rocks!!!

  8. Both of these are absolutely adorable. I LOVE Fhionna stamps and must have curly haired Fhionna as soon as I finish the hop I will be off to order her…and probably the furniture/window set as well 🙂
