Happy Monday! I hope all you Mom’s had a great mothers day, I did! The boys had homemade cards, a flower that was planted at school and even breakfast/brunch was made with minimal help by my oldest! 😀
I have another Dutin Pike image today, sooo cute! I just love the monkey! I coloured him with Copic markers and also used Diamond Glaze for his eyes, a touch of Stickles on the cherry and a little bit of glitter on the cupcake. The rest of the card was kept super simple.

Happy Thursday! I’m so excited I finally got my first stamps from Taylored Expressions this week and just in time to play along with this weeks Cupcake challenge. 😀
I stamped and embossed the image before colouring with Copic markers. I then used Diamond glaze for the door and windows. I matted it all up, pierced around the edges and finished it off with the buttons and sentiment.

Happy Saturday! It will be a quick post today, I have lots to get done around here for tomorrow! Today’s card is for this weeks Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #63.
I stamped the Verve cupcake with Brilliance ink and embossed with clear detail embossing power. I then coloured it in with Copic markers. On the top of the cupcake I added some Prisma glitter and topped it off with Diamond glaze. When the Diamond glaze was almost dry but not quite I added the mini rhinestones. I then stamped and embossed the flowers on light blue cardstock, cut them out with a craft knife and popped them up and finished them with a pearl. I think the rest of the card was fairly quick and simple to assemble.

Happy Wednesday! This weeks challenge over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog is to use glitter on our creations! We were also lucky enough to have Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps sponsor us this week and provide the design team with some really cute digital stamps to use on our cards. I think I may just be hooked on them now!
I printed out my image, coloured it with Copic markers and trimmed it down to the size I wanted it to be. I then added Stickles to the balloons, once they were dry I added a little bit of Diamond glaze for some added shine. I ran a piece of cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the Argyle embossing folder and paired it up with some of the pink American Crafts paper. I matted everything together and finished the card off with 2 large white brads.

Happy Friday! I’m so happy that it is finally Friday. Lee has a job interview this morning, my eyes, toes, fingers, and everything else that can be crossed is crossed for him! I also needed to get a quick birthday card done so I used the 3rd sketch from Stamps and Smiles.
Here is a close up of the sign with the shimmerz and embossing.
I stamped the cute little Changitos in Versafine and embossed them with fine detail embossing powder to seal the image before colouring them with Copic markers. I also used Shimmerz on the sign for a little bit of fun. I then covered a chipboard 9 with cardstock, trimmed it, added red glitter glue and Diamond glaze and then pop dotted it. I ran the patterned paper through the Cuttlebug with the Number collage folder for a bit of texture.

Happy Saturday! It has been a crazy busy week with no time to play, but I think that I can finally relax a little bit. My shopping is done, gifts wrapped, and most of the baking is done! I’m sure that I will think of something that I have forgotten but I will deal with that then! The boys are out of school now until the 5th and I am looking forward to skating out on the lake and sledding! I am not a big skater, but I do have fun out there with them. 😀
I coloured this Whiff of Joy image a while ago and figured I should put it on a card. I coloured Charlotte with prismacolor pencils and oms except for her skin, I used a Copic E00. I also use a red Spica glitter pen for the bow. I then added Diamond Glaze to the bell and liquid applique for some extra dimension. The rest of the card came together with very little effort, I just used what was sitting out on my desk.
