Krafty Guest Contest!

Hey everyone!  I had so much fun this past fall playing along with the Krafty gals over at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps that I had to get inky and try again when I saw that they are looking for guests in March!

For my card I inked up Hannah Hearts that I picked up just before Christmas, she has been calling my name and I am happy I finally got to play with her.  For my sparkle I used some cool highlight ultra fine glitter on all the hearts.  It is hard to see it well, but it really sparkles!

2012 Christmas Card Challenge #12

Hey everyone!  This week’s Christmas Card Challenge is to use paisley on your cards.  Now I searched my stash high and low and could not find anything with paisley!  I am thinking I may need to fix that in the near future!  But, all is okay if you too do not have any, any Christmas or winter holiday card will be okay.  Don’t forget to check out what the rest of the team has for you today!

We have just under 2 weeks left before we move and still lots to get done!  I still haven’t packed all my stamping stuff, so I should have a few more cards this week if all goes well.  Have a wonderful day and as always thanks for stopping by!

2012 Christmas Card Challenge #10

*Sorry my post is late I had scheduled it but for PM not AM!*

Happy Sunday everyone!  This week’s Christmas Card Challenge is to make your own background!

Eeek!  I love to use patterned paper and was not sure what to do at first and went through a few things before I settled on random stamping and a little dry embossing.

Fun Friday at YNS!

TGIF!  Hey everyone, I am so happy that it is finally Friday!  This week has been long and I can’t wait to just chill for a couple of days.  I am also excited because it is Fun Friday over at Your Next Stamp!  I love checking out all the tips and amazing cards by the DT.

My little Fun Friday tip this week is about sewing on cards, something I love to do!  To make things easier I use clear thread in the bobbin so that I don’t have to worry about changing colors all the time and then I also don’t need 101 different bobbins.  All I have to do is re-thread the top and I am good to go.  I did try using white, but sometimes you can see it and I didn’t like the look.

2011 Christmas Card Challenge #24 ~ Fibers

Happy Sunday everyone!  This week’s Christmas Card Challenge is to use fibers on your cards!  I’m still in shock that I went with a simple one layer card this week!  I did add loads of glittler and glossy accents and topped it off by using Baker’s Twine for the lollipops.  I just love how this turned out and may just make a couple more for this year!

Paper: Bazzill  Stamps: Your Next Stamp, Verve sentiment  Ink: A Muse, Copic markers  Accessories: Glitter Ritz glitter, Baker’s Twine, Glossy Accents, Sakura white gel pen.
