I had a great time with this challenge, I knew exactly which image I wanted to work with when we were given our assignment!  If you look closely you can see that Charlotte is popped up along with the star and the glittery garland in her hand.  (If you click on the picture you can see it a little bit better.)

1 Month until Christmas!

Happy Wednesday!   I cannot believe that there is only 1 month until Christmas and I have so much shopping to do still and with only 1 month left I am starting to feel a little pressure! LOL  I know it will all get done, but it still gets to me.  Every year I say I will start early but it never seems to happen.

I did this card up before I made the C4C12 card from Sunday, but now that I look at it they are very similar layouts.

Paper: Basic Grey  Stamp: Whiff of Joy  Ink: AMuse, Copic markers  Accessories: Fiskars punch, Ribbon, Pearls, Stickles.

I have to go into town today and do some grocery shopping and then I think I will try to do a little bit more cleaning in my stamp space.  Fingers crossed that I get something figured out!  I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

I’m Still Around!

Happy Saturday!  It has been a crazy busy week with no time to play, but I think that I can finally relax a little bit.  My shopping is done, gifts wrapped, and most of the baking is done!  I’m sure that I will think of something that I have forgotten but I will deal with that then!  The boys are out of school now until the 5th and I am looking forward to skating out on the lake and sledding!  I am not a big skater, but I do have fun out there with them.  😀

I coloured this Whiff of Joy image a while ago and figured I should put it on a card.  I coloured Charlotte with prismacolor pencils and oms except for her skin, I used a Copic E00.  I also use a red Spica glitter pen for the bow.  I then added Diamond Glaze to the bell and liquid applique for some extra dimension.  The rest of the card came together with very little effort, I just used what was sitting out on my desk.

Paper:Bazzill, My Minds Eye  Stamp: Whiff of Joy  Ink: Versafine  Other: Cuttlebug snowdot folder, Liquid applique, Diamond glaze, Copic marker, Spica glitter pen, Prismacolor pecils, oms, snowflakes, mini blue rhinestones, pop dots.

I am going to go and pop Christmas Vacation into the DVD player and relax for a while.  I hope that you are having a wonderful evening.  Thanks for stopping by!

Another day, another sketch!

I have always enjoyed doing the odd sketch challenge, but lately I seem to be looking to them all the time for ideas.  I found the sketch for this card over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge blog.  It jumped at me and I wanted to play with it right away.  If I keep it up, I will have all my Christmas cards done in no time!

I decided to use an image that Spike sent me with my stuff the other day, it is Charlotte decorating christmas tree from Whiff of Joy.  I love these stamps!

I coloured the image with prismacolor pencils and OMS except for Charlotte’s dress, where I used Sharpies and fun flock to give it a velvet look.  I also used red glitter glue on the garland and yellow stickles on the star to make them stand out more.

Paper: CTMH; Imaginisce DP  Stamps: CTMH-Say It In Style; Whiff of Joy-Charlotte decorating Christmas tree  Ink: CTMH-black -cranberry  Other: Sharpies; Sakura clear glitter pen; Sakura glue pen; white fun flock; gold ice Stickles; Hampton Art lucky red glitter glue; prismacolor pencils; OMS; ribbon; pop dots.

Happy stamping!
